Lemurs are one of the few animals that live in a matriarchal society  meaning that female
lemurs have more control over the group than male lemurs. However  these lemur groups behave in
a similar way to other primates  feeding and grooming each other  as well as sleeping close
together. It is not known why lemurs exhibit this rare form of social structure. Dimensions: 7
x 3.5 x 7 centimeters.
