The porcelain is not only highly resistant to impact and shock. Pillivuyt's ovenproof porcelain
also withstands thermal shock from -30°C to +350°C - so you can take the dish out of the
freezer and put it straight into a hot oven. So you can easily prepare a pie  a lasagne or
something else and then freeze the dish to put it in the oven at your convenience. The unique
properties of porcelain are due to the special porcelain body and the extremely high
temperature at which it is fired. Pillivuyt porcelain also has the great property of absorbing
and distributing heat in an optimal way - so food stays hot long after it's taken out of the
oven.
