The step drill bit head is made of HSS (high-speed steel) and coated with TiN (titanium
nitride). This provides an exceptionally long lifespan without the use of coolant. Very visible
and durable marking of the hole diameter is provided by laser-marked numbers in both spiral
grooves. In addition  the 3-flat shank prevents slipping in the drill chuck and provides
efficient transmission with high torque. The HSS step drill bit head delivers smooth  burr-free
drilling in multiple diameters with a single drill bit head. It is ideal for deburring 
drilling round holes  and enlarging existing ones. It is not necessary to mark center points
because the two-part tip provides easy starting. Its CNC-ground spiral groove allows for
optimized chip removal and less vibration for smooth drilling. The most optimal cutting and
absolute smoothness are ensured thanks to axial and radial clearance grinding. This step drill
bit is suitable for use on thin materials such as non-ferrous metals  sheet plastic  sheet
