is functional  however  there is a serious fault on the mechanism that controls the lens
barrel. It gets stuck and it produces a very loud grinding noise from the gears not functioning
properly. This means that zooming is not functional and the camera cannot be silent since the
gears will produce the very loud grinding noise every time the camera is turned on or off. This
makes normal use of the camera extremely difficult. For these reasons  the item is being sold
as spares and repairs.
