Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak picks up after the heroic defense of Kamura Village against
Rampage which culminates in Monster Hunter Rise. News of the villages survival inspires the
valiant knight Dame Fiorayne to journey from the distant kingdom in search of aid. Hunters
brave enough to join will head to the port of Elgado Outpost. This bustling maritime outpost is
home to the laboratory that researches the abnormal monster activity plaguing the kingdom and
to the Commando Post tasked with restoring peace to the realm. Here players will interact
with a host of new characters including the commander of the Knights of the Royal Order
Admiral Galleus the eccentric scientist Bahari the blacksmith Minayle the merchant Oboro
and the quest giver Chichae. These helpful allies will help the hunters craft new equipment for
the dangers ahead and instruct them in the execution of powerful new Wirebug techniques. The
threat to the kingdom is closely linked to powerful creatures known as the Three Lords. This
group includes the Garangolm the Fanged Wyvern Lunagaron and the Elder Dragon Malzeno. In
addition to these new enemies other monster variants and returning fan favorites including
the Blood Orange Bishaten and Astalos will appear to challenge hunters in the added Master
Rank quest difficulty. Investigating the Three Lords behavior will lead hunters throughout the
kingdom to exciting new locations including the newly revealed Citadel. This place boasts
snow-capped mountain peaks and lush forests. At the center of this vast area lies a
long-abandoned fortress serving as a bastion for the monsters it was built to keep out.
