LED's are based on the latest generation of high-efficiency LEDs  which in combination with the
built-in aluminum reflector provide both good basic lighting and extremely powerful spot
lighting. In this way  the LEDs create a powerful and fully illuminated aquarium combined with
a uniquely beautiful and pleasant flicker effect. We have thus combined the best of two worlds:
efficient and plant-friendly basic lighting from the world of fluorescent tubes and beautiful
and effective spot lighting from the world of LED lighting. The powerful 3W diodes are mounted
at the bottom of the aluminum profile. The solid profile ensures efficient cooling and thus
long durability for the diodes. The highly polished reflector is designed to collect part of
the light from the diodes and send it down into the aquarium with a spread of approx. 60
degrees. In this way  the light from the diodes is optimally utilized and the aquarium is
filled with beautiful ambient lighting for the benefit of plants and fish. In addition  the
strong direct light emission from the diodes creates a beautiful and exciting flickering effect
in the aquarium as the light refracts off the surface of the water.
