Designed in Oulu Finland. Inspired by the forests of Finland the material is Finnish birch
and the heart is a top-quality Miyota 8N24 automatic movement. Finnish birch is used for the
wooden parts and stainless steel for the metal parts. The glass in this watch is
scratch-resistant sapphire glass. The watch is also waterproof. Korpi is a watch that will last
decades of use at best. Even though we built the world's most stylish automatic watch we
didn't compromise on comfort. We chose a wooden background for the watch so that it is pleasant
on the wrist in every situation. The wood is not cold in the winter and does not grind in the
heat. THE MATERIAL IS FINNISH BIRCH When choosing materials for Korpi we made one choice -
only the best will do. Therefore Finnish birch was selected as the material for the wooden
parts. Birch's superior properties such as hardness make it an excellent watch raw material.
Each Korpi is a piece of Finnish nature. A TOP-QUALITY AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT The heart of the
Korpi watch is the top-quality Miyota 8N24 automatic movement. The beauty of the automatic
movement lies in the fact that it does not have a battery at all. The movement gets running
energy from the movement of the wrist when the watch is in use. So you never have to worry
about changing the battery in your Korpi watch. Our Korpi watch has a reserve of about 42
hours. Unlike a battery-operated quartz movement a mechanical movement is never perfectly
accurate - the running accuracy of a Korpi automatic wristwatch is about -20~+40 seconds per
day. We think it's best to follow the movement of the mechanism so that you don't have to take
the watch off your wrist. That's why we designed the dial so that the mechanism catches your
eye every time you look at the time. Korpi is HAVU's flagship product made of top-quality
materials. The package includes a tool for shortening the band. You can find an instructional
video on shortening the band from our YouTube channel @havuwatches.
