The Shellfish Cracker Caretta brings us out of the Stone Age and into the millennium of
mechanics when it comes to seafood preparation. It works according to the principle of barbell
(also known from nail clippers for example) and therefore a minimum of effort must be used to
break the shells. The design also causes the peel and juice not to spray but is sent obliquely
down to the substrate. The seafood crusher is made of stainless steel and is produced under
environmentally responsible conditions in Sweden. The name Caretta is inspired by the Latin
name of a special species of sea turtle known for its seafood appetite and for its hard bite.
