The high street is dying and with it Rupert's eclectic charity shop the Chest of Small
Wonders. Since the loss of his wife Rupert has tried to hold on to the happiness they shared
and to the dreams that they poured into creating this unique space but business is sinking
and he is close to giving up. Most people won't miss this space but for teenager Kwasi the
Chest is a sanctuary that offers endless inspiration as well as respite from pressures at
school and at home. Kwasi and Rupert forge an unlikely friendship finding solace and purpose
in working to save this treasured space. But as tensions escalate around them both face
difficult choices that force them to reconsider all they thought they knew.
