This book constitutes the refereed post-conference proceedings of the 11th International
Seminar on Speech Production ISSP 2017 held in Tianjin China In October 2017. The 20
revised full papers included in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 68
submissions. They cover a wide range of speech science fields including phonology phonetics
prosody mechanics acoustics physiology motor control neuroscience computer science and
human interaction. The papers are organized in the following topical sections: emotional speech
analysis and recognition articulatory speech synthesis speech acquisition phonetics speech
