Büchner Jahrbuch is to serve as a forum for stocktaking and innovation reflection and debate
source documentation and easy communication discussion and mutual understanding. Ever since
setting this goal in the preface to Volume 1 (1981) the Büchner Yearbook has been striving to
achieve its aim in all of its regularly published sections (Essays- Debates- Short
Contributions and Commentaries- Documents and Materials - Reviews). With 100 contributions from
14 countries wide acclaim not only from experts and last but by no means least the
development of Büchner-related research as such the Büchner Yearbook has turned out a great
success.
