The two-volume set LNCS 9779 and LNCS 9780 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 28th
International Conference on Computer Aided Verification CAV 2016 held in Toronto ON USA in
July 2016. The total of 46 full and 12 short papers presented in the proceedings was carefully
reviewed and selected from 195 submissions. The papers were organized in topical sections
named: probabilistic systems synthesis constraint solving model checking program analysis
