Advent in Fairytale land is an Advent calendar for reading and reading aloud suitable for
children aged 3 and over. The story shows that friendship helps to overcome even borders and
walls in order to open a door. A group of friends (Cino the rainbow dog the red cat and many
more) shorten the pre-Christmas period with winter activities such as ice skating baking
biscuits and putting on a play. Traditions such as the saints (St Nicholas & Barbara) Advent
wreath making and writing wish lists to the Christkind also play a major role in this story.
