Cultural Heritage Foundation': Starting from Humboldt's letters in the Secret State Archives of
Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation the book follows the traces of him that are still
visible today in the museums and libraries of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation. These
traces lead to the objects and manuscripts that he brought back from America and Russia as an
explorer as well as to the art objects and scientific works that were acquired for the former
Prussian museums and libraries on his recommendation.
