Established in 1958 the series of the Institut für Zeitungsforschung der Stadt Dortmund (City
of Dortmund Institute for Newspaper Research) publishes scientific studies on the development
of printed media and journalism. Contributions tackle historical and current topics in the
fields of media and communication studies. The series includes monographs collected volumes as
well as reference works biographies and textual documentation.
