The concept of agoral gathering is a new approach in the study of collective behavior. Waves of
agoral gatherings changed Central and Eastern Europe in the 1980s and 90s. This book interprets
these large-scale political transformations in terms of peaceful collective behaviors as a
political alternative for post-communist countries.
