The book discusses the «battle» taking place in writers' heads when writing in a foreign
language. It looks at written texts and the writing process in terms of fluency errors and
revision processes comparing L1 and FL writing. The findings allow an insight into the
processes going on in the brain and call for new didactic approaches to FL writing.
