This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed conference proceedings of the 5th International
Workshop on Resource Discovery RED 2010 co-located with the 9th Extended Semantic Web
Conference held in Heraklion Greece in May 2012. The 7 revised full papers presented were
carefully reviewed and selected from 9 submissions. They deal with various issues related to
