This volume starts with historical phases of the `Washington Post' written by the late
Katherine Graham former publisher of the newspaper based on her Pulitzer Prize-winning
autobiographical work. The introduction is followed by foreign-related Pulitzer articles and
cartoons from Italy's war against Ethiopia in 1935 until the final stages of America's Iraq war
in 2010. Heinz-Dietrich Fischer EdD PhD is Professor Emeritus at the Ruhr-University of
Bochum Germany.
