Lady Susan is a novella by Jane Austen. It tells the story of Lady Susan Vernon a manipulative
and charming widow who schemes to find wealthy husbands for herself and her daughter. Through a
series of letters the reader learns of Lady Susan's deceitful actions and the repercussions
they have on those around her.
