After an earthquake in the city of Angel Grove  a group of five young friends found a robot
called Alpha 5  who led them to meet the galactic wizard Zordon. Zordon selected them to face
evil in the form of the sorceress Rita Repulsa  and they each received a Power Morpher  an
artifact that contains a Power Coin with an image of a prehistoric animal that allows them to
transform into a Power Ranger. Trini Kwan  the Yellow Ranger  is an Asian-American teenager
with both Chinese and Japanese traditions. She is an expert in martial arts and one of the
other female representatives in the group. With a saber-toothed tiger as her symbol depicted on
her yellow and white costume  our heroine swings her daggers. With its statue standing on a
metal floor pedestal in what's known as Command Center - their headquarters - Iron Studios
