Smart home thermostat for energy-efficient heating! Nice warm living rooms at the desired time
and save energy very easily at the same time - the DuoFern radiator actuator 2 9433-1 (2nd
generation) enables you to do this. HomePilot users can therefore use it to adjust and
automatically regulate the room temperature to suit their individual habits. For example if
all the residents leave the house at a specific time in the morning certain radiators
automatically switch to energy-saving mode thanks to the new radiator actuator. This turns up
the temperature again before they come home again in the evening. The electronic radiator
thermostat exchanges the target temperature with the HomePilot every fifteen minutes. The
residents can intervene and make changes to the DuoFern radiator actuator via the HomePilot app
at any time while they are out and about. The DuoFern radiator actuator 2 is an electronic
radiator thermostat for controlling a radiator valve and regulating the room temperature. The
operation and setting of the DuoFern radiator actuator 2 can be performed on site directly on
the device via the smartphone app or with a computer. It can also be used as a stand-alone
solution with the internal sensor. The RADEMACHER HomePilot® is also required as a central
smart home controller (not included in delivery) for control via the app or a computer. The
DuoFern room thermostat 2 9485-1 (2nd generation) can be used as central control for up to 20
DuoFern radiator actuators (2nd generation). A stand-alone system can therefore be achieved
even without the HomePilot. The measured temperature of the room thermostat can optionally be
used for control purposes. The actuator has a boost function frost protection detection valve
protection and a child protection function. Frost protection detection prevents the room
cooling down to below four degrees automatic valve actuation protects the valve against
limescale and the boost function is available to heat up a room for a short time. The
illuminated display can be rotated through 180°. The thermostatic head enables the regulation
and automation of the room temperature in combination with the HomePilot® room thermostat.
Manual operation is still possible via buttons on the device. The setting range lies between 4
and 28°C. It synchronises with the HomePilot® room thermostat. The radiator actuator also has
an open window detection function that turns down the radiator if the temperature drops. It is
powered by two 1.5 V AA (micro) batteries and has a supply voltage of 3 V.
