provide prolegomena and a critical commentary. The first volume lists for the first time all
extant textual sources with their stemmatic interrelationships. It traces the reception history
of the Commenta from late antiquity through modern era. The second volume explains the choice
of variants and conjectures in the edition and includes detailed indices.
