The series Jewish Thought Philosophy and Religion aims to present a wide spectrum of studies
and texts related to Jewish thought philosophy and religion - from antiquity to the present.
It seeks to highlight the multiplicity of approaches within Judaism and to shed light on the
interaction between Jewish and non-Jewish thought. JTPR is edited on behalf of the Maimonides
Centre for Advanced Studies at the University of Hamburg. Further book series of the Maimonides
Centre for Advanced Studies are Studies and Texts in Scepticism and the Yearbook of the
Maimonides Centre for Advanced Studies.The Yearbook 2016 was published as volume 1 of the
series Jewish Thought Philosophy and Religion. From 2017 onwards the Yearbook is published
as a separate series.
