This book constitutes the proceedings of the 12th International Workshop on OpenMP IWOMP 2016
held in Nara Japan in October 2016. The 24 full papers presented in this volume were
carefully reviewed and selected from 28 submissions. They were organized in topical sections
named: applications locality task parallelism extensions tools accelerator programming
and performance evaluations and optimization.
