The new book series »Romania Judaica« comprises scholarly monographs conference proceedings
and collections of essays on the cultural history of the Jews in Romance countries. It is
interdisciplinary in design and sets out to be a forum for an encounter between Ashkenazi and
Sephardic Jewry and the Christian world. The aim of the series is to delineate the various
manifestations of Jewish culture in the Mediterranean area and Latin America from the Middle
Ages to the present. All those engaged in scholarly study of Judaism in the Romance countries
are invited to make use of the series as a discussion platform.
