In his latest edition Dutch flutist Rien de Reede undertakes time travel into the 18th
century. The album contains 34 works for flute solo which he has selected with great care and
edited according to music-historical aspects. Not all works can be attributed to a composer
often one can only speculate. Of course the names of great artists of this epoch such as Quantz
Blavet Taillart Mahaut and others which had a decisive influence on the flute are not
