Dmitrij Chmelnizki (born in 1953) Ph.¿D. architect architectural historian. He studied at
the Polytechnic Institute in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) and at the Repin Institute of Painting
Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad (today: St. Petersburg). Publications on the history of
the USSR and on the problems of post-Soviet society.
