BRAVELY DEFAULT: FLYING FAIRY (known as BRAVELY DEFAULT in other regions) offers a refreshing
take on classic RPGs with a story reminiscent of iconic FINAL FANTASY games. Set in a vibrant
world it features an unforgettable cast of heroes intricate character customization and a
highly strategic battle system making it one of the most enjoyable RPG experiences in the
genre. Story Luxendarc once a peaceful land is thrown into chaos when a Great Chasm rips the
earth apart. The four elemental crystals that sustain the world are consumed by darkness
causing widespread disaster. The story begins with Tiz a young man whose village is swallowed
by the chasm. He soon meets Agnès a vestal who has devoted her life to protecting the
crystals. Together they set off on a journey to close the chasm and restore the crystals
unaware of the deeper significance of their mission. The graphics have been upgraded to
impressive HD and the warm picture-book style visuals are more beautiful than ever. The game
has been reworked with a new user interface designed for a single screen and it includes
features such as a Heal All button and recommended character levels for dungeons which are
also found in other games in the series. You can enjoy the game at your own pace with the
ability to speed up battles up to 4 times and event scenes can also be fast-forwarded at
double speed when autoplay is enabled. You can also adjust the encounter rate changing the
frequency of random encounters from 50% to 200% depending on whether you want fewer dangers or
more challenges to build experience. The networking features from the original Nintendo 3DS
version have been updated to support the Nintendo Switch 2s free network connectivity. You can
choose to play alone or team up with friends from your platforms friend list. Lastly new
minigames have been added allowing you to take a break from your adventure. Completing these
rewards you with bonuses including new entries in Ds Journal that reveal previously untold
parts of the story.
