Nach den ersten Minuten hatte icg das Gefühl, ich müsste die Spitzmaschine zurückschicken, denn ich hatte erst die Kurbel in der Hand, aus Versehen das Innenleben herausgezogen und die Stifte blieben stumpf. Die beigefügte Gebrauchsanweisung ist auch nicht sonderlich informativ. Aber nach einigem Ausprobieren habe ich rausbekommen, wie ich die Stifte schön spitz bekomme. Funktioniert wirklich gut - mal sehen wie lange.

It has been 2 months and after sharpening many pencils and color pencils I am writing this review.Important things,1. The machine works as it should but only by an adult. Positive.2. The machine base is very slippery. you need really press it down to sharpen properly. I have clamped it and still it moves, the clamp is worthless.The solution to this issue is that I initially tried to use an Ikea non slip sticker but it didn’t work. The workable solution was to cut a piece of yoga mat or latex glove to shape of the base and also the clamp plastic part. Then I have got some friction that it does not move too much. If you are using some pencils that have hard wood the sharpner moves and comes undone.Due to use of this mat solution it becomes a chore to clean after point 3.3. The scrap container is just too small, you might not think it is full as the front doesn’t show correctly the level and after every 5 pencils you need to empty it or else once you try and take it out it spills inside the casing. to clean that is another matter.Overall, I love the convenience to sharpen more than 15 pencils at a time when I prepare my son’s (6yo) pencil box, but he can’t do it himself.Overall it is the very good as the shape can be controlled and if the lead is stuck you can take it out easily and clean. (just once with a bad quality pencil).M+R should improve the base design and a slope to represent the container fullness.

Hatte mir zuerst eine billigere Spitzmaschine gekauft. Dann sah ich, dass man bei diesem Spitzer zwischen Kurzkonus und Langkonus (stumpfer bzw spitzer Anspitzwinkel der Stiftspitze) wählen kann (laut Beschreibung! Auch auf der Herstellerseite!) und habe mir diesen Spitzer bestellt.Er eignet sich gut zum Anspitzen von Stiften, er tut also, was er soll. Allerdings ist es entgegen der Behauptung der Produktbeschreibung nicht möglich, Lang- oder Kurzkonus einzustellen! Es ändert sich lediglich, wie bei ALLEN anderen Spitzmaschinen (auch meiner billigeren Variante, die diesem Produkt in rein gar nichts nachsteht) die Länge der angespitzen Mine. Spitzt man auf der kleinsten Stufe einen Bleistift an, so erhält man eine langkonische Bleistift"spitze", die oben stumpf bzw nicht zu Ende gespitzt wurde. Unbrauchbar für Leute wie mich, die auf der Suche nach einer Kurzkonus-Spitzmaschine für weiche Stifte wie Pastell-, Kohle- oder Kreidestifte sind.
