Doom.   The Lord of the Rings tells of the great quest undertaken by Frodo and the Fellowship
of the Ring: Gandalf the wizard  Merry  Pippin and Sam  Gimli the Dwarf  Legolas the Elf 
Boromir of Gondor  and a tall  mysterious stranger called Strider.
