This volume is a collection of articles dealing with the function of scripture in Early Judaism
and Christianity. It is a result of the cooperation between the Center for the Study of
Antiquity and Christianity (C-SAC) at the University of Aarhus and international scholars.
Special attention is paid to the interplay between scripture and liturgy and creed in Early
Christianity.
