"Kryo" ist das griechische Wort für "Kalt" welches auch in Kryotechnik steckt. Das deutet an das die Kryonaut Wärmleitpaste speziell für Anwendung im Tieftemperaturbereich findet: Sie wurde für die wahren "Kryonauten" unter den "Extreme Overclockern" entwickelt. Kryonaut verwendet eine spezielle Trägerstruktur welche sogar noch bei 80°C keine Austrocknungsprozesse beginnt. Diese Trägerstruktur sorgt dafür dass die enthaltenen Nano-Aluminium- und Znk-Oxid-Anteile der Paste sich optimal verbinden und so Unebenheiten des Wärmeträgers (z.B. der CPU) und eines Wärmeableiters (z.B. Kühlkörper) bei herausragender Wärmeleitfähigkeit optimal ausgeglichen werden.
