Society and Politics in Africa is an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary series dedicated
to producing new and innovative approaches to the study analysis and appreciation of
contemporary Africa. While the focus is mainly on the social sciences the series welcomes
manuscripts in all other disciplines which treat context as a significant aspect of discourse.
