is written very differently than my other stories because it is my own. I am a hopeless romatic
who hasn't had her first kiss yet  who has never been loved by a boy before  who loves
painfully open and yet in secrecy. But above all  it is about August. My August. My love.A love
letter began writing itself on a summer day seven years ago  I have just come to pick up the
words that have been following me since then. This book is not about getting over someone you
love- it is about finding your courage to tell them how you feel  to not have regrets  to trust
your heart. I have written this book with no intention of publishing it but all my friends and
family cried while reading it privately. It is such a beautiful book  Elaine. You cannot leave
it like this. You have to publish it!Here I am  I guess. My ten year old self would be gaping
at me right now. This is so real  all of it. I say to her as I grin.
